Sam und meine Mama waren nirgendwo zu entdecken, und im Moment könnte es mir weniger interessieren, wenn ich derjenige wäre, der sie herausholte. Ich habe das Finale der zweiten Staffel von Handmaids Geschichte gesehen, haha!
Willkommen, Ruby!
Ich legte mich wieder auf das Bett sowie über das Programm von nur wenigen Minuten, mein Mann, Mama und die Hebamme rannten sowohl in den Raum als auch Ruby geboren. Sam erklärte, er könnte sehen, wie ihr Kopf krönte, als er wieder in den Raum kam, und er wollte unsere letzte Geburt berücksichtigen, also schnappte er sich die Kamera und schoss einige ziemlich außergewöhnliche Fotos. Meine Mama hielt meine Hand, meine Doula schnappte sich mein Bein, und ich denke nicht einmal daran, wirklich zu drängen, dass ich einfach ihre Ankunft verspürte. Sie war zuletzt hier. Ich habe nicht bei ihrer Geburt geweint, wie ich es geglaubt hatte. Ich reiße jetzt zusammen, da ich so erfreut darüber bin, diese Reise zu halten und mich so sehr für mich und meinen Körper zu erfreuen, was sie erreicht hat. Ich habe etwas getan, von dem ich nie geglaubt habe, dass ich es könnte.
Insgesamt ist die natürliche Geburt nicht jedermanns Sache, und wenn dies mein allereres Kind war, bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob ich es auf diese Weise noch einmal tun könnte. Der Schmerz war jedoch momentan, und meine Heilung war viel glatter.
